Experience
I am currently a teacher at The International Academy, News Week’s #1 Michigan High School and #9 ranked school in the U.S. I teach all levels of Spanish and also specialize in IB and AP exam preparation. I can offer supports in speaking, writing and grammar. I have traveled to many Spanish speaking countries and work daily with native speakers. I also have extensive experience in tutoring students with Autism or other learning disabilities in Spanish. I consider my teaching style dynamic and interactive. I understand that learning a new language can be intimidating and work with each student to develop a plan appropriate to their goals and needs. I like to create a welcoming environment so students do not feel intimidated speaking a new language.
